Tenzin Tashi – SEO Expert & Founder of Tenz Digital
My journey into digital marketing didn’t begin with an agency or a predefined plan. It began with curiosity.
Back in 2019–2020, during the COVID period, I was studying engineering when I came across a YouTube ad about digital marketing. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what digital marketing involved, but it sparked my interest enough to explore it further.
I started learning digital marketing fundamentals under the guidance of an early mentor in India. Through this, I was introduced to how online marketing works as a whole — including content creation, basic SEO, user behavior, and the role of different channels in driving growth. SEO was part of this learning, not the only focus.
To apply what I was learning, I launched a blog called AllTechSub, focused on digital electronics. Over the next two years, I worked consistently on the site and managed to rank position #1 in Google search results for several queries. That experience gave me first-hand exposure to how content, SEO, and user experience interact in real-world conditions.
As the site grew, I began noticing issues through Google Search Console, especially related to mobile responsiveness, site structure, and technical limitations. That’s when I realized that understanding SEO basics alone wasn’t enough. Sustainable results required clear strategy, technical planning, and alignment with business goals.
This realization pushed me to specialize further in SEO.
I went deeper into advanced SEO strategy and implementation, learning under Joshua George, founder of ClickSlice (UK). His guidance helped me understand SEO as a structured process — combining technical SEO, content, internal linking, and strategic decision-making rather than isolated tactics.
During this phase, I applied everything directly to my own website. I worked on technical improvements, on-page optimization, internal linking, and also experimented with email marketing using tools like Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to understand how SEO fits within the broader digital marketing ecosystem.
Over time, I realized that blogging itself wasn’t the path I wanted to continue. What interested me more was helping other website owners avoid the same digital and SEO mistakes I had faced. In 2025, I transitioned from blogging into building Tenz Digital, an SEO-first agency grounded in a solid understanding of digital marketing as a whole.
That background shapes how I work today. I don’t treat SEO in isolation. Every recommendation considers user intent, website structure, and how SEO supports broader digital growth — all backed by real testing and hands-on experience.
“SEO isn’t magic. It’s a process—and when done right, it works every time.”
